HELSINKI — Surgeons in training can stabilize their complication rate after approximately 100 cases, according to a speaker at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons winter meeting.
“Patient safety can be easily achieved with good mentorship and a structured training program,” Nikolaos Dimitriadis, MD, resident doctor at General Hospital of Sparta, Greece, said.
